Iceland on Six Metres Award

Rules for the Iceland on Six Metres Award

The Award is available to all Radio Amateurs and SWL's. The Award is printed for each applicant on a 106 g/m² 297X210 mm Special Ink Jet paper in multi colors. The Award was first issued in July 1998 and the first applicant was G4UPS, Ted Collins from England.

  1. The Award is available to all licensed Amateurs and SWL's.
  2. The Award is awarded for contacting or hearing Icelandic Amateur Radio stations on six meters (50MHz).
  3. There is no time or mode limit on QSO's.
  4. Requirements:
    • Contact at least two Icelandic Amateur Radio stations on six meters (50MHz).
    • Please note: Contacts with stations which are /TF or TF/ are not valid for this Award.
  5. Contacts do not have to be confirmed but a list showing all QSO details like stations worked, day, month, year, time, band, mode and report must be submitted.
  6. First Award issued to a DXCC country will be endorsed as such and single mode achievement will be endorsed upon request.
  7. Fee for "ICELAND ON SIX METERS AWARD" is 8 IRC's, 5.00 US dollars or 5.00 Euro.
